5- Read the following passage,
then answer the question:
More and more parents today choose to send their children to
boarding schools. But some children enjoy the experience. Others find it
difficult and unpleasant. So, what really are the advantages and disadvantages
for boarding schools? There are certain advantages to attending a boarding school.
To start with, pupils learn to rely on themselves and make their own
decisions. As a result, they become more independent , Furthermore boarding
schools have excellent facilities such as swimming pools , theatres and cinemas
and pupils are encouraged to take part in many activities.
However, living in a boarding school has its disadvantages . Students feel
very lonely when they are separated from their parents and other family
members. The majority of Boarding schools pupils come from wealthy families as
a result pupils from poorer families might feel insecure or isolated.

Will people live on the moon ? Scientists say it is possible and
necessary. They say that we will soon need more energy than the earth's oil,
coal and gas can give us. The world's population is growing all the time at
current rates of growth it will be over ten billions by 2050, that's about
double what it is today. We will need more energy and space is a good place to
get it. How will people live in space? And how will they get all this energy? Scientists want to build huge space cities
where thousands of people can live and work just like they do on earth . they will collect the sun's energy and
transmit it back to earth .
Unfortunately there is one big problem , there is no gravity . without
gravity, everything floats around and life is impossible . Scientists have got
the solution to this problem.
